The team

Raglan builders, working across the Whaingaroa area since 2014.

I'm Carl "Choppy" — a qualified builder with more than twenty years of experience, running Chops Contracting (CCL) from Raglan since 2014. We specialise in new home builds, renovations and extensions across Raglan and the Whaingaroa area.

Our work is shaped by where we live. Coastal exposure, salt-laden air and the steep sections that define this part of the country all influence how a home should be detailed and built. We take those conditions seriously, so the finished work lasts.

We're a small local team, and you'll work directly with me from the first site visit through to handover. No middlemen, no surprises — just a clear line of communication and a builder who takes pride in the result.
